Ephesians 1

1 I am, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of
God, to the saints which are in the world, and to
the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 I have grace, and peace, from God my Father,
and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, who hath blessed me with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen me in him before
the foundation of the world, that I should be holy
and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated me unto the adoption of
children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to
the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein
he hath made me accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom I have redemption through his blood, I
have the forgiveness of sins also, according to the
riches of his grace;
8 Wherein Christ hath given me abundantly all
wisdom and prudence;
9 Having made known unto me the mystery of his
will, according to his good pleasure which he hath
purposed in himself:
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times
Christ might gather together in one all things, both
which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even
in him:
11 In whom also I have obtained an inheritance,
being predestinated according to the purpose of
him who worketh all things after the counsel of his
own will:
12 That I should be to the praise of his glory, who
first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom I also trusted, after that I heard the
word of truth, the gospel of my salvation: in whom
also after that I believed, and I was sealed with
that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of my inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession, unto the
praise of his glory.
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard about the faith in
the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 Cease not to give thanks, making mention of
you in my prayers;
17 That the God of my Lord Jesus Christ, the
Father of glory, may give unto me the spirit of
wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of my understanding being
enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of
my calling, and what the riches of the glory of my
inheritance I receive in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his
power that worketh in me who believe, according
to the working of his mighty resurrection power,
20 Which I wrought in Christ, when he raised me
from the dead, and set me at his own right hand

in
the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and
might, and do 2minion, and every name that is
named, not only in this world, but also in that which
is to come:
22 And hath put all things under my feet, and gave
me to be the head over the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth
all in all.

Ephesians 2

He hath quickened me, who was dead in
trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past I walked according to the
course of this world, according to the prince of the
power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the
children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also I had my conversation in
times past in the lusts of my flesh, fulfilling the
desires of my flesh and of my mind; and were by
nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love
wherewith he loved me,
5 Even when I was dead in sins, hath quickened
me together with Christ, (by grace I am saved;)
6 And hath raised me up together, and made me
sit together in heavenly places with Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come I might shew the
exceeding riches of his grace in kindness he had
toward me, through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace I am saved through faith; and that
not of myself: it is the gift of God: bestowed upon
me which I received.
9 Not of works, lest I should boast.
10 For I am his workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that I should walk in them. And Christ
works again through me, by my hands, with the
works he himself doth when he walked and
pleased the Father.
11 Wherefore remember, that I was in time past as
the Gentiles are in the flesh, who are called
Uncircumcision by that which is called the
Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 That at that time I was without Christ, being
aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and
strangers from the covenants of promise, having
no hope, and without God in the world:
13 But now I am in Christ Jesus who were afar off
but now made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is my peace, who hath made us both
one, Christ and I, and hath broken down the
middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even
the law of commandments contained in
ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one
new man, so making peace; Christ in me, that is he
lives in me and through me to live again to do the
will of the Father again in us who believe.
16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in
one body by the cross, having slain the enmity
thereby: and dwell in me that we be no longer
twain but one in Christ.
17 And came and preached peace to me which
were afar off, and to them that were nigh. With
laying on of hands even as Christ did, to show
God’s mercy that I too may be a child of God by
faith and demonstrate his love to the world with my
hands.
18 For through him I have access by one Spirit
unto the Father. And that Spirit is working in me
because the Father loves me and Christ is in me.
19 Now therefore I am no more a stranger and
foreigner, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of
the household of God; being a child of God even
as Christ.
20 And are built upon the foundation of the
apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being
the chief foundation and example.
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together
groweth unto an holy temple, of believers, in the
Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an
habitation of God through the Spirit. To work
through you again anew, through faith.

Ephesians 3

1 For this cause I, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for
you Gentiles,
2 Ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace
of God which is given me to you-ward:
3 How that by revelation he made known unto me
the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4 Whereby, when I read, the gospels, I understand
my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
5 Which in other ages was not made known unto
the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto me,
who are holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
and sons of God.
6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs and sons
of God, doing the works of Christ and all who are in
the same body, and partakers of his promise in
Christ by the gospel:
7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the
gift of the grace of God given unto me by the
effectual working of his power, through laying on of
hands.
8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all
saints, is this grace given, that I should preach and
heal the sick, among the Gentiles the
unsearchable riches of Christ; through his blood
and by his stripes.
9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship
of the mystery, which from the beginning of the
world hath been hid in God, who created all things
by Jesus Christ:
10 To the intent that now unto the principalities
and powers in heavenly places might be known by
the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11 According to the eternal purpose which he
purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
12 In whom I have boldness and access with
confidence by the faith of him who lives in me.
13 Wherefore I faint not at my tribulations for you,
which is your glory.
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth
is named, and called the children of God. Who are
sons of God and with Christ in us, who is the first
Son on earth to show us how we should to walk
and act before God.
16 That he would grant me, according to the
riches of his glory, I am strengthened with might by
his Spirit in the inner man;
17 Christ dwells in my heart by faith; that I may
be, rooted and grounded in love, even as he loved
those who were suffering.
18 I am able to comprehend with all saints what is
the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 Of the love that Christ has for the world, which
passeth knowledge, that I am filled with all the love
of God for the lost. And also see them as sheep
without a shepherd whom the enemy has cause
some to lose their faith in God,, yet I preach all of
Christ.,
20 Now Christ is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that I ask or think, according to the power
that worketh in me, and through me, by faith I do
what is pleasing to Christ.
21 Unto me be the glory of Christ Jesus in the
church, which is my body, throughout all ages,
world without end. Amen.

Ephesians 4

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, I walk
worthy of the vocation wherewith I am called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with
longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in
the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as I am
called in one hope of the calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism of the Spirit,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and
through all, and he lives in me and in all who
believe.
7 But unto every one, who is in Christ, is given
grace according to the measure of the gift of
Christ.
8 Wherefore he saith, When I ascended up on
high, I led captivity captive, and gave the gift of the
Spirit unto men.
9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he
also descended first into the lower parts of the
earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that
ascended up far above all heavens, that he might
fill all things.)
11 And there are apostles, prophets, evangelists,
pastors and teachers; these all are in that same
Spirit that I received, that I may be who Christ has
made me, unto all.
12 That I may be perfecting the saints, for the
work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of
Christ: till Christ be seen in me.
13 Till I come in the unity of the faith, and of the
knowledge of what it means to be a Son of God,
unto a perfect man, and become a mirror image of
Christ:
14 That I henceforth be not as children, who are
tossed to and fro, and carried about with every
wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and
cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to
deceive the simple;
15 But I am speaking the truth in love, I grew up
into him in all things, which is the head, even
Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together
and compacted by that which every joint supplieth,
according to the effectual working in the measure
of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the
edifying of itself in love.
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that
I henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the
vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being
alienated from the life of God through the
ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness
of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves
over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness
with greediness.
20 But I have so learned, to walk as Christ
walked;
21 Since I have heard of him, and have been
taught by him, as this truth is in Jesus: who is also
in me and lives in me and walks in me and talks in
me and is in me.
22 And I have put off concerning the former
conversation of my old man, which is corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And I am renewed in the spirit of my mind; by
reading the words that I and Christ have spoken.
24 And that I have put on the new man, which
after God is created in righteousness and true
holiness. And have become Christ again to the
world.
25 Wherefore I put away lying, I speak every man
truth with my neighbour: for I am the members of
Christ and one of another.
26 I am no longer angry, and I sin not: I do not let
the sun go down upon my wrath:
27 Neither do I give place to the devil.
28 I steal no more: but rather I labour, working
with my hands the thing which is good, that I may
have to give to him that needeth.
29 I let no corrupt communication proceed out of
my mouth, but that which is good to the use of
edifying, that I may minister grace unto the
hearers.
30 I grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby I
was sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 I let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and
clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from me,
with all malice:
32 And I am kind one to another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's
sake hath forgiven me.
